Time to Shine

Lunar Eclipse Leo 11deg = Total Eclipse begins 10.51pm Qld

Keep it simple sweetie!  Follow your heart & creative passion for emotional fulfillment.

What has been playing out for you since the Leo Solar eclipse last August 2017?  Has there been a potent or significant event over the last six months?

If so, maybe it has come up for review and completion on this lunar eclipse tonight.

Spend some time reflecting on the themes of the last six months.  Has there been unearthing of karmic contracts or strong heart-centred activations to follow your dreams – career, relationships, home, reason for existence?

The moon herself relates to soul essence, family, ancestral connections, sense of belonging, emotional patterning, reaction, security & stability, inner peace.

The Leo/Aquarius polarity is about joy, passion, creative expression, natural authentic leadership, the right to shine as a Sovereign Being, the personal gifting for humanity & the progressive awakening of our collective consciousness.

The flip side of this is diving deep into the underworld of our emotional patterning with family or relationship issues, especially father stuff.  What friendships have completed their natural course and is it time to release them with heart-felt love to move on from the drama?  Ask yourself what is important for you to stay in authentic truth and expression?

Be wise in your decision making.  Are the current cosmic energies giving you the impetus to make that liberated change or is it best to let the dust settle from the emotional spotlight?  Only you will know the answer to this.  Trust yourself.

On another sensitive note maybe ask yourself …when did you lose your confidence to shine and trust in your own nature?  Your own unique individuality and gifts tracking back to the Divine Child or Wounded One.  Spend some time writing and journalling.  Get out your art book and colourful pastels and draw without criticism from the judgemental parent-figure.  Let the child create with wild abandon!

“I am a most magickal Star Being with creative potential”

“My creative energies heal me and are a wonderful gift for the world”

“We are safe & supported.  It is time to shine in this life time”

Ceremony is always a magickal way to honour all of what is revealing from the deep.  Let the energies guide you intuitively to bring you into natural alignment.   Each to their own to offer conscious prayers out into the world for the collective healing.

UNVEILING THE MOTHER MASK II

“There is a life behind the personality that uses personalities as masks.

There are times when life puts off the mask and deep answers unto deep”

Dion Fortune ~ The Goat-Foot God

The transpersonal call has been to vision at the sacred well, looking into the depths of both the inner and outer worlds. I accepted the kiss of the morning dew, as I held the ‘green wand of life’ in my hand. The rope and the bucket portrayed the shattering of old insecurities and patterns around parenting & relationship dynamics, to delve into the unknown waters of being a mother.

When I dwell upon this, I am reminded of the myth of abduction of the ancient vegetation goddess Persephone, Queen of the Underworld and Daughter of the Earth Mother Demeter.  In her maiden aspect, Persephone, known as Kore, is the young part of the personality.  She encapsulates change and engages in the sensual magic of unfolding life.  Initiations and ceremonies are enacted all around her.

Starhawk calls the daughter or maiden aspect the “Younger Self,” symbolising the unconscious part of a being, the child within, who “directly experiences the world through holistic awareness of the right hemisphere.”   Her functions are sensations, emotions, basic drives, image memory, intuition and diffuse perception.”

This Younger Self is affiliated with inspiration, growth and spontaneity.   I encountered the stepping-stones of my life in an adventurous and courageous manner and I can see an aspect of myself in her wild, free and uninhibited nature.

When I meditated upon my Younger Self, I embarked upon my sojourn with much enthusiasm.  Time went by, I experienced difficulties and challenges, much like my own life journey where I become the Maiden Warrior and fought for a sense of justice in the world around me.  I gained more wisdom as I explored different pathways and outcomes at the crossroads.  I embraced my sexual experiences with lust, love and eagerness.  I did not wish to conform or be ‘maintained’ by society’s standards.  As my quest continued I deepened my spiritual views as a self-actualising human being.

Parenting has been a major life transition into motherhood, both personally and politically. Physically birthing my children in my thirties and continuously birthing new ideas and projects within my own psyche.  Ritual played a paramount role throughout this time and defined my initiation into this new undertaking.

As a mother, I observed that we instinctively know how to nourish those around us, sometimes too much.  In general, we are encouraged by patriarchal society to exalt this primary traditional role with unreasonable demands on our time and energy.  I was determined I would not be ‘overly domesticated’ or deprived of my wild feminine nature. I discovered the importance of taking restorative time for myself ‘sacred selfishness’.  In the latter part, there has also been a liaison rekindled with Eros.  This involved the acceptance of a bewitching sensuality that exists in a mature love partnership through the exploration ‘Dialogue with Sexuality.  ‘Adrienne Rich calls this “a world in which every woman is the presiding genius of her own body.”

As in the myth of Demeter and Persephone, the Mother archetype is also familiar with grief and despair.  I call on her in times of need, to comfort and heal my sorrows.  She knows the seasons of change and death of winter.  The Mother gives me reassurance that the seasons do turn and spring will come again.

“I wish I were showing her something else, some relaxed mum who always feels unconditional love for each child and speaks only in calm, kind tones.

Who I am is not really who I would ideally choose to be as a mum; it simply is the best I am able to pull together in the thick of multifarious demands.”

Maren Tonder Hansen ~ Mother Mysteries

In my personal journalling, I explored parenting aspects through ‘Dialogue of Events’ and ‘Dialogue with Persons’.  Mothering has been the most challenging initiation I have ever faced.   I am not perfect and I struggle with the masks that I wear to block my feelings of inadequacy.  I stumble, fall in emotional exhaustion and rise again with my two beautiful children, by my side.  We howl and cry together with the waning moon and we find inspiration again when she emerges in a new cycle.

Each day I stare into the face of the Mother and realise the enormous responsibility I have undertaken.  I recognise the mask of the Mother and I am reminded of one of my transpersonal tudors saying “…as a necessary item when we need to engage in the world in a particular wayThe danger lies in “Am I my mask and nothing else?  Do I kill of a part of Self to wear the mask and I can’t get it off?”

It has taken me many years to reconcile my initiation as a mother and it has been largely, uncharted territory for me.    However, I know that I am committed to transforming my sacred wound, “ to develop the courage to be naked with the raw energy of anger, without suppressing it or acting it out.”  I have integrated transpersonal resources, creating a weekly practice that supports me to be mindful of my fire energy, to ground myself and to sing a different tune.

“The fiery intensity at the heart of anger does not ask for smothering, spiritual rehabilitation, nor psychological marginalisation, but rather for a mindful embrace that does not necessarily require any dilution of passion, any lowering of the flames, or any muting of the essential voice in the flames.  If such fire destroys, it is only in order to create and heal.  In its flames, the phoenix is more than a myth.   In its fiery heart, love burns brilliantly, ever replenished, illuminating more that we can imagine.”   Reference: The Journal of Transpersonal Psychology 2000, Vol 32  No 1

In this synthesis, I have crafted my own ‘unmasking’ recipe for the ‘Terrible Mother’ archetype, allowing the metamorphosis into different states of consciousness.  It is a unique moment of dancing through the threshold.  Uniting this shadow archetype within my own consciousness, opening to new inner wisdoms and possibilities. Experiencing the death of the old and the birth of the new, removing the mask that binds so tight.  What seeds do I choose to take and what do l choose to leave behind?  This is an exciting turning point for my soul’s evolutionary growth, and contribution to a progressive future for my children.

* Kissing my children goodnight and allowing the Great Mother to kiss me for a job well done!

I am experiencing a fusion of immense joy, abundance, nourishment and gratitude.  After the rich blooming of the summer season comes the first harvest.  In my transpersonal journal I am gathering acknowledgments of my achievements, prosperities and successes.  Sometimes not all of my projects reach culmination.   I breathe peace into these situations, and recognise the gift of detachment.  This is a juncture of patience, as I realign myself through change and exploration.

When the Sun’s strength starts to wane with winter, I call to mind, Demeter, reflecting sadly on the diminishing power and vitality of the sun that helped make the harvest successful and abundant.  She is also appreciative of the tests of life, death and rebirth.  When something fades, something new begins.  This is part of the transformational process.   There is a desire to empty out so that I may be a vessel of the deepest surrender.  During the dark winter months it is a time of dreaming, mystery and introspection to meet the crone, at the cauldron of centering and inner wisdoms.

During this time I collect some dry autumn leaves, and write on them all that I wish to relinquish.  I burn the leaves in my cauldron and spend time reflecting on this significant process.  My spirit ancestors commune potent messages throughout the dark of the night.

The Transpersonal Self has pushed and pulled me, sometimes kicking and screaming, into the unknown darkness to release all that is stagnant in my life… whatever it is that does not inspire, energise or give me passion.  Over the last few weeks my Transpersonal Self has been pushing me to the bone and still cutting away to the very end.  Life, death and rebirth are all one during this transitional time.

The Transpersonal Self does not reflect the subjectivity and sometimes immaturity of the Younger Self.  Clear, direct and sharp like a diamond, the Transpersonal Self has been howling in the winds to make sure I hear what it has to say about resistance and authenticity.  I was invited to liberate a dysfunctional pattern that I have been holding onto tightly for many years.

In the darkness I was presented with a seedpod containing several seeds and I had to choose the ones that I wanted to plant and carry through to the next season of my life.  I visualised the seeds in the dark soil, being moistened by the sacred water from the Well.  The symbolic new seeds represented the gifts of music, dance, joy and connection, a treasure from the muses.  I will carry this precious offering with me throughout this time of gaining spiritual intelligence.  The life journey is a spiral that continually flows.  There maybe trepidation, however I am reassured knowing that as I move through the darkest night of the Soul, I give birth to a new creation and embrace the revelations of my journey.  When light gains the seeds will start to sprout with spring.

During the personal explorations I discovered the most poignant transpersonal resource for my destination is creative expression.  I have yearned for this since I was a child ~ an unfulfilled, fragile wish that has resided deep within me to this day, pulsing with its own rhythmic heartbeat.  I have tried to accomplish this several times but alternative life circumstances took priority over my time and energy.  Now I am at a ‘place’ in my life where it is bubbling up so strongly in me, like a stream flowing from the Source, never to be destroyed.  It is vital for my personal and spiritual growth.  In my astrological transits I have transiting Neptune conjunct my natal North Node in Pisces, hence the desire to unearth a positive channel for this art.

“I am touching my creative soul, the gypsy within, so much more, who has been without.

A starvation of expression.  Trying to fulfill and seek.. the desire

Creativity ~ the pulse of life that frees me…”  ~ Mikailah

My dream lovers and soul guides do not want me to grieve anymore.   This is the genesis of a new time, unfolding with much beauty, love, and grace, as I breathe life back into the lost part of my creative soul and reveal my face.

“Tear off the Mask.  Your face is glorious”  ~ Rumi

Full Moon Self Love Ritual

Ritual is a magnificent way of clearing out old outmoded belief systems and replacing them with empowering ones.  Energy follows intent.  This is a wonderful ritual to honor one’s beauty with true acceptance.

This ritual is to love yourself more… for you are Infinite Grace!

On the night of the Full Moon prepare a sacred bath by placing special crystals of moonstone, rose quartz & seashells around it.  After you have soaked luxuriously in the divine waters, anoint yourself with rose & jasmine oil.

Gaze at your Divine Self in a mirror & say the following affirmation.

“I am filled with great love and beauty.

My energy and magic radiate for all to see.

Anoint pink or green candles with the intent of bringing sacred love and creative fertility into your life.  Use this time & space to love yourself more.  Cherish who you are for you are in a perfect state of being right now.  Ignite passion within your heart and radiate this energy throughout your entire luminous energy field.

Sing and dance with the fluidity of natural movement.  Raise your arms to the Heavens.  Acknowledge yourself as a Vessel of Great Love & Beauty.  The fecundity of life is all around you.  Spend time reflecting.  Rejoice in the moment of creation, reaching out across the abyss of time.

Now it is the time to release the energy.  Give thanks and blessings.  Ground yourself by walking barefoot on the earth.

Sing songs of self-acceptance & wisdom everyday ~ much love Mikailah

Owning Your Fire Energy with Mars

Sekhmet, the Lion Headed Goddess from Ancient Egypt, roars with anger and rage.  The Lady of the Place at the Beginning of Time initiates fiery, powerful transformation with the greatest of compassion.

The Hindu Goddess, Kali~Ma, dances on the dead.  She wears a garland of skulls and ferociously waves swords around her. Kali in Sanskrit means ‘kal’ or time.  Her gift is the space in-between time to gain independence for Self and fulfill creative potential.

Throughout ancient history we find myths of Goddesses from different pantheons expressing their volatile emotions.   So why is it in our contemporary society we can sometimes struggle to constructively release their inner most feelings around anger?  Our shadow-side haunts us through the darkest night and torments us with outer situations that we continually find ourselves placed in if we do not find resolution to this vital part of ourselves that has been suppressed for thousands of years.

When we feel this emotion it can erupt like a volcano and may be very difficult to contain.  Alternatively, anger that is not expressed safely and which is turned inward can simmer and act as poison on our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical energy systems.

In color therapy, red is connected to the life force.  It challenges the emotions of assertiveness and anger. It resides in the lower chakras and relates to the ancestors, tribal connection, survival issues and personal power.  Red is intense, passionate, grounding and highly energizing.  On the colour-wheel the complimentary opposite is green.  Green is connected to the heart chakra, and this is the balancer.  The essence of green in nature is part of a symbiotic relationship with light.  Light for the spirit means more space and harmony to find your heart-felt truth.

In astrology the placement of the personal planet Mars in your natal chart can give invaluable insight into how issues of anger and assertiveness are dealt with.  Traditionally Mars is the God of War and resonates with the colour of red.  In Goddess mythology you may like to see Mars in terms of Sekhmet or Kali-Ma within a chart.  As with the astrological interpretation of any energy it depends on the functional and dysfunctional needs, combined with the interacting stories of other planets, aspects and transits.

Here are some suggestions to being with:

Mars in the element of air, communication is vital.  Find a trusted confidante to listen to you without censorship or judgment.  This provides a safe alternative so you can release pent up frustration enabling you to clear your head, take deep yogic breaths and assess the situation with more clarity.

Mars in the element of fire, call on Sekhmet to help channel the necessary release. Arch your back and roar like a Lioness.  It is time to take action!  Grab your drum and go to the beach or forest.  Alternatively dance it out with Kali-Ma. Try a Kundalini dance session.  Use this vital energy force for powerful transformation.

Mars in the element of earth, time to move the rising energy through your physical body.  Try a kickboxing session, Zumba class, gardening (feel the dirt with your bare hands) and composting, or energetic walking.  Remember our physical cells hold memories.  A regular bodywork session will be extremely beneficial.

Mars in the element of water, now just where is that anger or resentment hiding?  Is it simmering, bubbling and brewing beneath the surface?  Does moodiness prevail?  Establish clear boundaries with the definition of your needs. Try some art therapy, and express the subconscious emotions through color.

At the end of the day it is about finding a constructive strategy that works best for you.  Transmuting anger is about rediscovering your connection to your deep empowerment and establishing a greater understanding of the Self.  By beginning to release old patterns and blockages you become aware of ancient wounds that lie within the subconscious.

Potent transformational work with a skilled, somatic therapist can assist with the uncovering of these old wounds as they arise for healing.  Many have reincarnated in this lifetime to support this particular shamanic service for the Great Cosmic Mother, by working with the mind/body connection and the spiritual/astral realms.

So be brave and take the first step of this exploration.  Allow yourself to find full expression in wholeness.  The Sacred Feminine calls you to find your own truth and particular voice with immense clarity.  She also reminds you to be gentle with yourself as deeper awareness can take a lifetime to unfold.

“Own your power Mighty One and go forth with renewed confidence and strength!”

Medicine Bundles

For many years I have worked in ‘collaborative adventures’ with artists, musicians, writers, healers, poets and wayseers to bring about a more sustainable world for our art.  This has been the impetus to create transpersonal ‘medicine bundles’ for our ravenous, passionate souls, to hold the beauty and forge a new pathway.  A place in the world where we belong and where we are cherished and loved.

Medicine basket

The metaphorical idea of the transpersonal ‘medicine bundle’ came to me during a sound healing.  It originates from the native American tradition of sacred medicine bags.  These medicine bags were worn on the body to remind the wearer of their unique purpose and direction in life.  The bags would hold sacred objects such as plant medicine, crystals, feathers, shells, talismans, ‘prayers’ made of clay, which related specifically to the wearer’s creative healing gifts and potentials.

The symbolic concept of the transpersonal ‘medicine bundle’ has been birthed from this traditional idea and has a significant resonance to the individual that I work with … ‘an ancient tool that is used in a modern application.’

The ‘medicine bundle’ assists you in connecting with your Authentic Being and to follow your true calling.  This is offered through three individual, transpersonal sessions, where we explore your creative gifts and potential, releasing any fears or limitations around this.

  • Experiential Astrology – soul direction, creative gifts and archetypal energies
  • Transpersonal Counselling – to explore limitations & fears ~ to embrace the Authentic Self
  • Shamanic Soul Retrieval – reclaiming the essence of creative passion

The transpersonal ‘Medicine Bundle’ comprises of three unique sessions for $260.

Venus in Sagittarius

This evening Venus moves into Sagittarius, along with some other potent planetary alignments. This conscious dreaming is calling forth highly evolved partnerships. It is time for us to embrace our energy in the stillness, to be deeply honouring of the Great Mother as the Black Moon resonates her ancient wisdom in Capricorn. At the same time, we are being called to surrender to her vulnerabilities and be empowered through the softness that radiates from her heart-space. It is the weaving of all into a unified heart-space.

How best do we align with expressing these astrological energies depends on our individual lines of self-enquiry and state of grace.

For some it is vitally important to engage in the wild dance of Kali, for She is the creation of nature ~ The Dark Mother, She of the Deep. For her to do this She must be reassured and trust the vessel holding this sacred rite for the movement of creation, preservation and destruction. These are the ingredients for the cosmic blend of the Beloved. Initiation and assertion are activated through our inner animus. Likewise, our inner anima resides in the gentle recess of our hearts. We have both aspects within and these qualities need to be nurtured and revered. Balance and unification will then bring forth healing which is reflected through inter-personal relationships.

During patriarchal history, humankind has been subjected to the dominator race and near eradication of the Sacred Feminine. The Great Mother is like the wild tigress that has been oppressed through the shackling and ‘domestication’ of her instinctive nature. Mother Earth has been continually raped to the detriment of all, which is felt within the psyche of humanity. We have danced away from each other through this separation and carry the wounding within our collective memories.

We need to be gentle with each other, for this will take time to heal and a new inclusive connection is essential for harmonious existence. This reconnection allows us to vision new ways of Being. This dreaming is gifted to us all to raise the consciousness of humanity. We need to understand that the conventional roles of how we have previously been interacting are changing. We need to educate ourselves on a more universal level. First and foremost, we need to be responsible for our own journey to wholeness through connecting with all aspects of our Inner Beloved. This requires great courage to step beyond our limitations and embrace our ecstatic Self.

A beautiful rite to honour the Inner Beloved is by reflecting on the Full Moon energies. It is a time to celebrate the life force of the Sun (creative essence) and the receptive nature of the Moon (expressive & nurturing). The Full Moon occurs every 29 ½ days and celebrates illumination. It is when the sun and the moon are dancing opposite each other in balance and harmony across the arc of the sky.

Use your intention to nurture the relationship between yourself and your Inner Beloved, however you feel you would like to express this for yourself. Offer this ritual as a gift for the evolution of humanity, as well as for personal benefits.

Close your eyes and focus on the breath. Call forth the elements and acknowledge them individually to offer the experiences and insights you need for your Divine Union.

Earth – body / sensuality / values
Water – emotions / subconscious
Fire – passion / creativity / intuition
Air – breath / communication
Spirit – cosmic connection

If you have a partner spend time in heart-felt communication. This is perfect leading into the Full Moon in Gemini in the early hours of Monday morning here in the Southern Hemisphere. Allow some time over the week to focus on each other. Again, close your eyes and focus on the breath before calling in the elements. Allow your inspired ideas to flow through the heart.

Another valuable ritual is to have a special place in nature that becomes your Beloved for merging with your higher consciousness. For many years I experienced an alchemical fusion with a sacred mountain where I live. This dedicated place holds healthy and safe energy for me. By connecting with this landscape it offered me a greater depth of understanding about the true unity of myself by releasing my shadow projections and attachments to the past. By nurturing my relationship with nature in this divine place, I became more aware of the universal tantric energies and experienced a deep transformation. I was instructed in a different way of receiving and giving love-wisdom. The sensory touch and erotic delight of the senses with the transcendental aspect of human love to spiritual. Explore where you live and find a place that holds similar energy for you through the ley lines. The land will love you for this and open to receive you in this holy quest “for that which you seek if you do not find it within, you will never find it without.”

Remember in these conscious times, to listen with your heart and feel strength in your vulnerabilities. Keep walking the path in sacred prayer for Earth Mother and beyond. For we are all One in this Divine Union.

As always take what resonates and leave the rest  Feel free to share from ‘Singing Crow Shamanic Astrology’

Black Moon Lilith

This story is about the quintessence of the creative Earth Beings akin to PachaMama, Earth Mother, Gaia.  Words carry vibrations so I invite you to receive what is in resonance with your personal cosmologies at this moment in time and release what is not needed to be scattered like leaves in the wind.  Ultimately, Lilith’s archetypal energy is about the untameable, wild free spirit.  She wants you to claim your inner power, spiritual activism and embody your personal truth with integrity and authenticity.

The astrological work I offer is dedicated to our relationship with Pachamama, intermingled with our star consciousness.  When we walk the Beauty Way with honesty and dignity, we connect with the Ancestors; the Star People; the Plant People and their medicines; the Devic Spirits; the Tree Guardians and Stone People; the Two Spirits; the Water Beings; the Four Legged; the Two Legged; the Winged Ones and the Insects.  We look to how they commune with us, thereby allowing Mother Nature to teach us and to teach our children through the seasons, the four directions and the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit.  These earth teachings bring great joy, balance and awareness into our integrated Being by celebrating all our relations ~ Mitakuye Oyas’in ~ we are all related, we are all One.
img_2596

Primarily as feminine encounters, synthesis with our menstrual Star-Fire and fluid intelligence is a sovereign relationship.  We align with our menstruum (female lunar essence) through our moon cycle thus cultivating a more harmonious affinity with Mother Earth and guidance of her heartbeat.  When we return our blood to her, we hear her voice, we hear her heartbeat.  It becomes one with ours. These phenomenological teachings reflect our rich symbolic inner world.

By remembering the story of Lilith and her mythology we can activate an awakening transmission.  With an open heart and an open mind, we need to take ourselves back in history to around 4000 BCE to some important synchronistic events in the timeline of humanity.  This is a powerful teaching story of alchemical archetypal energies altering the collective earth story.  There are some important star lineage codes embedded within this storytelling if you happen to go searching or it could be just another remarkable tale.

We are going back to ancient Mesopotamia, around the time of Sumer and Babylon, a cultural area between the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers.  Geographically it is the same region as modern-day Iraq.  However, ancient Mesopotamia was a very different social structure as it was an egalitarian society. They were a matrilineal, fertility-based people that ritualised the natural cycles ~ the seasonal cycles of spring, summer, autumn and winter.  They understood about the sowing of seeds for the new cycle and the fruition that comes with that through tending to the plants, tending to the seeds as they grow and the metaphorical dreams and visions that come forth with this to the time of the Great Harvest.

There was significant celebration around the harvesting and the people also understood about winter coming in and the need to release what is no longer required, essentially this is the cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth. They were connected in with the heavenly spheres by myth, magick and mysticism.

In mythology Lilith dwells in the bottom of the Tree of Life and this represents the base chakra.  She inhabits the tree with the great serpent, one of her totem animals.  The serpent symbolises feminine knowledge, healing and oracular vision.  Lilith is known as the ‘screech owl of the night sky’ and the owl embodies the lunar and blood mysteries.  Her sacred flower is the Lily.  The top of the tree is the home of Inanna (Sumerian) or Ishtar (Babylonian).  Inanna/Ishtar reside in the top of the tree with the Anzu bird.  Therefore, we have a direct correlation with the ancient bird/snake Goddess personifying the shamanic journey of a person taking flight from the physical body during a vision quest to find truth and purpose by communing with Spirit.

One of Lilith’s primordial roles was to go into the fields and joyously dance the people back to the temple of Inanna/Ishtar.  The people would celebrate, feast and make music for the holy rites of fertility.  They would engage in sexual relations and experience an orgasmic connection with the Divine Creative Life Source.  They had great awareness about the kundalini energies moving through them to gain enlightenment.

img_2684

In these times, the children were considered ‘gifts of the Great Mother’.  The whole community would raise the children in these earth medicine ways.  When women bled on the dark moon they would go into what we know as the red tent.  They would bleed for three days and three nights and be lovingly looked after and cherished by the rest of the community.   Their dreams would be received for the revealing of prophecies that would come through their blood song. The dreamings also included the healing ways of the plants, the healing ways of the Wise Woman.  The ancient circles would hold the wisdom of the Elders & they were consulted before any major decisions were made for the benefit of their community.  There was great freedom, however with freedom comes responsibility.

Lilith also appears in the Old Testament.  There has been an energetic shift from the matrilineal times and we are now in patriarchal reign.  The dominator race has come into being with destructive patriarchal conditioning and new archetypal energies are occurring with ego development.  In this storyline, Lilith was the first wife of Adam.  One day Lilith confronted Adam with her hand.  The hand symbol is either a warning or a greeting.  Lilith said to Adam “I do love you my husband but you need to treat me as your equal in this partnership.  For I will not lie beneath any man and be subservient.”  Adam, the dominator archetype, refused to meet Lilith on these terms of equality.  So instead of being subordinate and compromising her truth to meet someone else’s values, Lilith willingly chose to leave her family and tribe.  She went to live with kindred nature spirits in the wilderness.  Even though Lilith intentionally chose to leave her community, the ancient patriarchal fathers banished her and all that was sacred to women. They created fear and superstition around the story of Lilith and perpetuated a complex, collective wound.

Throughout the collective psyche, Lilith grew to be feared and was renowned for being the child killer, temptress and demonic hag.  Corrupted folklore fed this superstition of the vilified woman who became associated with shame and taboo.  Subjected to the projection of the patriarchal shadow, the female psyche throughout the ages experienced the dark night of the soul; the deep well of grief; denigrated status; sexual trauma and emotional repression; difficulties with conception and birthing; incarceration; madness; suicide and death.

img_2610

In the Burning Times of the middles ages we have the dark oppression of the Goddess religion, the midwives, herbalists, healers and witches.  Many of whom were burnt or drowned because the church as an institution did not trust or want women to have the power that is within all of us.  ‘For she is unsafe.  She is not to be trusted ‘~ this was the distorted moralistic message that grew within the patriarchal collective.  The sacred teachings and wisdom of the Great Mother went underground.  Many of us still carry the old traumatic wound of persecution and separation.

In the Victorian era, we recount the absurd sexual repression of women.  A woman with strong Lilith energies was called the seductress, whore or harlot.  Great artists of this time painted Lilith as the Fallen Woman.  We remember with great honour, the suffragettes who fought to bring back women’s rights, many of whom were incarcerated and some lost their lives in the hunger strikes.  We acknowledge the women’s revolution in the sixties and seventies with the reclaiming of natural birthing and women’s equality.  These respective, collective feminist waves resurrected the warrior energy of Lilith, calling for emancipation from a governing system that dictates domestication and enslavement.  Those bold and fiery women embraced the forbidden side of the wild feminine in all her glory.

Now we are in potent, revolutionary times of the collective consciousness and changing our story.  This is my passion, by exploring your personal story through transpersonal astrology and the Hasidic myth of Lilith, we can track the energetic cords of disempowerment and discover a new map of freedom, purpose and authenticity.  Lilith is a powerful emissary.

We first look at the asteroid of Lilith which signifies Lilith confronting Adam in the Hasidic myth.  This is aspected in your chart by the Dark Maiden and when you first stood up to the rigid domination of patriarchal culture.

Next, we journey to the Dark Moon Lilith (DML) which is a second satellite to the earth and it perplexes astronomers because they don’t know if it really exists.  The Dark Moon Lilith encapsulates that hidden, rejected energy of Lilith who was banished to the desert.  Archetypally, she is the ‘exiled social outcast’ and the source of internalised wounding.  Dark Moon Lilith represents the shadow and if not owned or transmuted can turn into the poison of twisted pain where we project the dysfunctional dark feminine.  If internalised it can lead to self-hatred.  Lilith will only come out of the shadows to be healed when she feels safe.  It is vital not to stay stuck in this place, no matter how uncomfortable the ‘drawing out’ makes us feel.  It takes great strength, courage and vulnerability to do this rite of passage across the threshold to cultivate a loving and compassionate relationship with previously disowned parts of self.

Thirdly, the Black Moon Lilith (BML) is a powerful energy vortex, estranged in her relationship to the earth and the lunar moon.  The lunar moon has an elliptical orbit around the earth and therefore there are two center points of gravity.  The Black Moon Lilith is the second point of gravity and the furthest away ~ the lunar apogee.  The Black Moon Lilith is the intermediary state that brings through abstract, and at times multi-layered themes of scarred emotional patterning.  It is important in this liminal stage to access the sub-conscious and make it conscious , and to also release wounded cellular memories that have been stored in our physical bodies.  This interwoven metamorphosis with Lilith reawakens and rekindles our magnificent soul potential and wildness.  Her gift is to embrace the evolutionary process for humanity and progressive collective shift for our planet.  We are the Ones we have been waiting for.

When we understand with wisdom our personal story, we can then witness the unbinding of the chains, to live a rich life in primal creative existence with our organic world.  Our empowered and grace-filled voices can be heard in deep resolute union as we return home to the bountiful Garden of Eden ~ or maybe we never left.
